About us

A bridge, not a shelter door

Leaving is rarely one decision. It is dozens of them, made over months, usually while still living with the person causing the harm. Most services are built for the moment of crisis, which means they arrive after the hardest part is already over. HealBridge works earlier in that sequence, and stays later.

Our programmes

Somewhere safe tonight

Emergency accommodation, transport to get there, and someone who answers the phone.

Get help

Help with the paperwork

Protection orders, custody, and replacing the documents abuse destroys or withholds.

What we do

A way to stay out

A job, an income, school places, and a home she holds the key to.

What we do
How this works

Leaving is the start, not the end

Most services stop at the emergency. The months afterwards decide whether a woman stays out, and that is where we put the effort.
