This website belongs to HealBridge, a Nigerian organisation supporting women and children leaving domestic abuse. It gives general information and a way to reach us.

What this site is not

Nothing here is legal advice, medical advice or a substitute for either. Nigerian law differs from state to state and cases turn on their own facts. Where something on this site matters to your situation, speak to a lawyer or a clinician. We can help you find one.

This site is not an emergency service. If you are in immediate danger, call 112.

Using our material

You are welcome to print, copy and share anything on this site for the purpose of helping someone, including inside a school, clinic, workplace or place of worship. You do not need to ask. Please do not change the meaning of safety information, and please keep the emergency numbers with it.
