HealBridge runs seven programmes. Each is costed as a unit for one woman over one year, because that is the shape the work actually takes: not money dropped into a general fund, but a specific thing bought for a specific person, and accounted for afterwards.
We cost them this way because leaving is not an event. A woman who leaves on a Tuesday still needs somewhere to sleep in March. She needs a school to accept her children without the records her husband kept. She needs a landlord who will take her without a guarantor, and an employer who knows not to confirm her address to a caller. Most services are funded for the first night. The year afterwards is what decides whether she has to go back.
Every programme below shows what it costs and what it covers. When one is funded, whoever funded it receives the record of what it paid for — the receipts, the placements, what changed — with no identifying details about the woman herself. Nobody who comes to HealBridge is named, photographed or quoted, and that does not change because someone has paid.
If your organisation would rather give the thing itself than the money for it — a job with a contract, a tenancy, an hour of legal advice, a place on a course — that is worth more to us than the equivalent in naira, and it is the first thing we ask for.
